Jessica Dowgiert, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant who concentrated her studies in Primary Care and internal medicine, with additional specialized training in studies in women’s health, behavioral health, and pediatrics. She graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2011 and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Vista University in Parker, CO in November 2022. Prior to her PA training, Jessica served Boulder County as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac Rehabilitation for 8 years and developed Avista Adventist Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab program. She also worked as a Medical Assistant for Flatiron Internal Medicine from 2018 to 2020.
Jessica is passionate about improving quality of life and preventing chronic illness by maintaining an open dialog about preventative health topics including stress reduction, healthy diet, exercise, and sleep hygiene. She quickly establishes trusting relationships with patients and their families, providing education, and goal setting strategies.
Jessica is a Colorado native and enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible including hiking, kayaking, beach volleyball and her new hobby – pickleball. She enjoys traveling with her husband, who have travelled to over 20 countries together, including a 2-month trek across Spain called the Camino de Santiago. She also loves discovering new restaurants in the Boulder – Denver area and playing board games with friends and family.
